'Ladli Behna' Scheme Amount Increased by ₹250 After 2 Years

The amount under the 'Ladli Behna' scheme has been increased by ₹250. The amount has now increased from ₹1250 to ₹1500. However, on October 12, only ₹1250 was transferred to the beneficiaries' accounts. The remaining ₹250 will be sent on Bhai Dooj (October 23).

Over 1.26 crore Ladli Behna beneficiaries received ₹1541 crore in the 29th installment. The Chief Minister stated that from the next installment onwards, the full amount of ₹1500 will be credited to the accounts.

The 'Ladli Behna' scheme was launched on June 10, 2023. Since then, eligible women have received a total amount of ₹34,750. In the initial four months, each woman received ₹1000 per month.
