MP's Kapil Parmar created history by winning bronze medal in Judo at Paris Paralympics 2024, giving India its first Paralympic medal in the sport. The 24-year-old Indian judoka won the bronze medal match 10-0 at the Champ-de-Mars Arena in the J1 class event. In the bronze medal match, Kapil defeated Brazil's Elilton de Oliveira on the mat.
