Dr. Kalam's Documents Now Part of National Archives
The personal documents of former President APJ Abdul Kalam will now be preserved. His family has handed over various private documents related to the former President, including his passport, Aadhaar card, PAN card, original correspondence, and lecture materials from various institutions, to the National Archives of India (NAI). These documents also include several photographs.
Known as India's "Missile Man," Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam was a renowned scientist. He served as the 11th President of India from 2002 to 2007. Officials stated that the National Archives of India received Dr. Kalam's private documents on Monday. These include original letters, passport, Aadhaar card, PAN card, travel reports, and lectures delivered at various universities and organizations.
