Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva Appointed Acting Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court

Justice Suresh Kumar Kait, the Chief Justice of the Madhya Pradesh High Court, is retiring today. In an official notification, the Union Ministry of Law and Justice has appointed Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva as the Acting Chief Justice of the Madhya Pradesh High Court. He will assume charge starting May 24.

Born in 1964 in Delhi, Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva completed his law degree from Delhi University in 1988. He began his legal practice the same year. He was appointed as a judge of the Delhi High Court on April 17, 2013.

Justice Sachdeva was transferred to the Madhya Pradesh High Court on May 31, 2024. He has previously served as the Acting Chief Justice of the Madhya Pradesh High Court from July 9 to September 24, 2024.

Throughout his career, Justice Sachdeva has been honored with several awards, including prestigious British scholarships, recognizing his contributions to the legal field.
