इंदौर शहर के तेज गेंदबाज आवेश खान का चयन आस्ट्रेलिया के विरुद्ध पांच मैचों की टी-20 सीरीज के लिए भारतीय क्रिकेट टीम में किया गया है। उल्‍लेखनीय है कि आस्ट्रेलिया के विरुद्ध पांच मैचों की टी-20 सीरीज 23 नवंबर से शुरू होगी। अपने अंतरराष्ट्रीय करियर में आवेश खान 16 टी-20 मैच खेल चुके हैं। इस दौरान उन्होंने 16 विकेट चटकाए हैं। टी-20 सीरीज के दौरान भारतीय टीम विशाखापत्तनम, तिरुअनंतपुरम, गुवाहाटी, नागपुर और हैदराबाद में मैच खेलेगी।
