Indore Emerges as Largest Export Hub in Madhya Pradesh | MP Ranks 11th in India


Indore Zone Becomes the Largest Export Hub, Contributing 60% of Madhya Pradesh’s Total Exports

Madhya Pradesh has made a significant leap in export performance, climbing four positions from 15th to 11th place in the national export ranking for the financial year 2024–25.

According to a ranking and potential report released by the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO), which tracks export growth by state, Madhya Pradesh’s Special Economic Zone (SEZ) recorded exports worth ₹70,256 crore, which is a 2% increase over the previous year’s total of ₹69,036 crore.

Indore, Dhar, Ujjain & Dewas Drive MP’s Export Growth

Within Madhya Pradesh, the Indore zone—including Indore, Dhar, Ujjain, and Dewas—has emerged as the state’s largest export hub.

These districts collectively exported goods worth ₹41,382 crore in the last financial year, accounting for approximately 60% of the state’s total exports.

Gujarat Tops the List

Nationally, Gujarat remains the top exporting state with exports worth ₹98,000 crore. Madhya Pradesh has moved ahead of Kerala, Rajasthan, and Delhi in the latest rankings.
