India's Smartphone Exports to the US Increased Threefold in October 2025

Despite global challenges, India's smartphone exports to the United States surged more than threefold in October 2025, reaching $1.47 billion, according to government data. In October last year, smartphone exports stood at $460 million.

According to official figures, during the April-October period of this financial year, smartphone exports to the US increased to $10.78 billion, compared to $3.60 billion during the same period last year.

Although there had been a decline in exports on a monthly basis, there has been an improvement now. In April, exports were $1.65 billion, and in May, they rose to $2.29 billion. However, exports dropped to $1.99 billion in June, $1.52 billion in July, $960 million in August, and $880 million in September.

One official mentioned that despite concerns over tariffs and uncertainty regarding demand and pricing, this growth momentum has been maintained.

According to the data, India’s total global smartphone exports increased from $10.68 billion to $15.95 billion during the April-October 2025 period.
