India's Powerful Retaliation Shakes Pakistan
India launched a major military response targeting key Pakistani cities such as Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Sialkot, and Bahawalpur. The precision strikes, carried out using drones and missiles, have created panic across Pakistan. Following the attack, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif convened an emergency high-level security and military meeting.

After initiating shelling across the Line of Control (LoC) and International Border in Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan faced a swift and coordinated counterstrike by India. The Indian forces remained within Indian territory while targeting Pakistani military installations.
Operation Sindoor: Precision and Power
The recent operation, dubbed "Operation Sindoor," has reportedly stunned the Pakistani defense establishment. Late Thursday night, Pakistan attempted to retaliate by launching attacks on Indian cities including Jammu, Srinagar, Amritsar, and Bhuj. However, India’s advanced air defense systems, including the S-400 and Akash, neutralized all threats.
Indian Air Defense Neutralizes Attacks
According to the Defense Ministry, Pakistani attempts to strike 15 Indian cities using drones and missiles were thwarted by India's Integrated Counter-UAS Grid and air defense systems. Cities like Avantipora, Jammu, Amritsar, Chandigarh, and Bhuj were among the targets.
Drone Strikes Destroy Chinese-Made Defense Systems in Pakistan
In retaliation, India conducted drone strikes on Pakistani military bases and air defense systems in cities including Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi, and Bahawalpur. Notably, an Israeli-made Harop drone destroyed a Chinese HQ-9 air defense system in Lahore.
Panic in Pakistan After Indian Retaliation
The scale and precision of the Indian response has caused significant alarm in Pakistan. Pakistani military spokesperson Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry acknowledged that 12 drones had entered Pakistani airspace and confirmed the destruction of an air defense system in Lahore.
