India's First Cheetah Corridor to Span 17,000 sq km
India’s first cheetah reintroduction project, currently underway in Madhya Pradesh, will now include Rajasthan as a key partner. A cheetah corridor covering 17,000 square kilometers is being developed as part of the project.
This expansive corridor will allow cheetahs to move freely in open, wild spaces—helping restore their natural habitat and support conservation efforts.
