Indian Arts Festival kicked off in Secunderabad on 30 September.

President of India Smt. Draupadi Murmu inaugurated the first edition of Indian Arts Festival at Rashtrapati Nilayam, Secunderabad on 28 September 2024. The eight-day festival is being organised by Rashtrapati Nilayam in collaboration with the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region and Ministry of Culture. The festival aims to showcase the rich and diverse cultural heritage of the North Eastern states like Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura to the visitors. It is our collective responsibility to preserve and promote the rich cultural heritage of our country. The cultural diversity of the North Eastern states, their folk dances, music, art and traditional costumes are the heritage of our country. The festival is an effort to make the citizens more familiar with the traditions and communities of the region.
