पीएम नरेन्द्र मोदी ने 17 दिसंबर को गुजरात में सूरत हवाई अड्डे के नए एकीकृत टर्मिनल भवन और सूरत डायमंड बोर्स का उद्घाटन किया। सूरत डायमंड बोर्स अंतरराष्ट्रीय हीरे तथा आभूषण कारोबार के लिए दुनिया का सबसे बड़ा एवं आधुनिक केंद्र होने जा रहा है. सूरत एयरपोर्ट के नए टर्मिनल भवन का निर्माण स्थानीय संस्कृति और विरासत के अनुरूप किया गया है. जबकि सूरत डायमंड बोर्स की इमारत 67 लाख वर्ग फुट से अधिक के क्षेत्र में फैली है, जो दुनिया का सबसे बड़ा कार्यालय परिसर है। यह सूरत शहर के पास खजोद गांव में स्थित है. इस मौके पर पीएम नरेंद्र मोदी ने कहा कि उनके तीसरे कार्यकाल में भारत दुनिया की टॉप 3 इकोनॉमी में जरूर शामिल होगा. ये उनकी गारंटी है.

While the Surat Diamond Bourse building is spread over an area of more than 67 lakh square feet, making it the largest office complex in the world. It is situated in Khajod village near Surat city.
