India and Pakistan Naval Forces Conduct Drills in the Arabian Sea

On August 11, the naval forces of India and Pakistan began conducting joint exercises in the Arabian Sea. This drill will continue over the next few days. However, there has been no official information regarding the warships that will be part of the exercises from both countries.

According to defense sources, Indian Navy ships will conduct drills in the Arabian Sea near Gujarat’s Porbandar and Okha from August 11-12. These exercises will take place within their respective maritime boundaries. The naval exercises from both countries are being carried out after the Operation Sindhur that took place on May 7, marking the first time both countries are showcasing their naval power in the region.

Media reports indicate that Pakistan will conduct drills approximately 60 nautical miles (111 kilometers) away from the Indian drills. Both countries have issued the Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) in their respective maritime areas for the exercise.
