भारत और अमेरिका ने स्टार्टअप के बीच सहयोग बढ़ाने नियामकीय अड़चनों को दूर करने और उद्यमियों के पूंजी जुटाने पर सर्वोत्तम व्यवहार को साझा करने के लिए एक समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं। एक आधिकारिक बयान में 15 नवंबर को कहा गया कि भारत-अमेरिका वाणिज्यिक वार्ता के तहत नवोन्मेषण पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र को बढ़ाने के लिए एमओयू पर 14 नवंबर को सैन फ्रांसिस्को में हस्ताक्षर किए गए।

वाणिज्य एवं उद्योग मंत्री पीयूष गोयल इस समय सैन फ्रांसिस्को में हैं। वाणिज्य और उद्योग मंत्रालय ने कहा कि एमओयू पर एक उद्योग गोलमेज बैठक में हस्ताक्षर किए गए। इस बैठक में प्रमुख आइसीटी कंपनियों के सीईओ, वेंचर कैपिटल फर्मों के अधिकारियों और प्रमुख स्टार्टअप के संस्थापकों ने भाग लिया। इस दौरान दोनों देशों के बीच प्रौद्योगिकी सहयोग बढ़ाने के तरीकों पर चर्चा हुई।

India and the US have signed an agreement to enhance collaboration among startups to remove regulatory hurdles and share best practices on entrepreneurs raising capital. The MoU to enhance the innovation ecosystem under the India-US commercial dialogue was signed in San Francisco on November 14, an official statement said on November 15.

Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal is currently in San Francisco. The Ministry of Commerce and Industry said the MoU was signed at an industry roundtable meeting. The meeting was attended by CEOs of leading ICT companies, executives of venture capital firms and founders of leading startups. During this, ways to increase technology cooperation between the two countries were discussed.
