Historic Dhwajarohan Ceremony at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir on 25th November
Ayodhya is set to witness a golden chapter in history. The formal completion of the grand construction of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir will be marked on 25th November with the flag-hoisting ceremony. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hoist the saffron flag on the main shikhar, which is 161 feet high, along with six other temple spires. CM Yogi Adityanath has invited the Prime Minister for the event.
Key Attendees
Nearly 8,000 guests will attend, including Mohan Bhagwat (RSS chief), Governor Anandiben Patel, and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The Prime Minister will enter through the 11 Shankaracharya Gate, visit Hanumangarhi, and view the Sapt Mandap and 3D murals of the Ramayana in the temple complex.
The Flag Details
The saffron flag is 22 feet long and 11 feet wide and will feature symbols from the Valmiki Ramayana, including the Raghavansh, the Sun, Om, and the Kovidar tree. The flag will be mounted on a 42-feet-high flagpole with a 360-degree rotating chamber, capable of withstanding wind speeds of up to 60 km/h.
Five-Day Religious Rituals
The five-day religious rituals from 21st to 25th November will include Ramcharitmanas recitation, Shri Ram Raksha Stotra, and Vedic havans. The rituals will be conducted by 108 acharyas from Ayodhya, Kashi, and South India under the guidance of scholar Ganeshwar Shastri. According to Trust Secretary Champat Rai, 7,000 to 8,000 devotees will participate in the ceremonies.
