Hard Work Pays Off: Woman Laborer Finds 9.80-Carat Diamonds in Panna
In Panna district, the fortune of a female laborer, Rachna Goldar, changed with the sparkle of diamonds. She set up a mine in the Hazara Mudda area and discovered 8 diamonds, small and large, among which 6 are of gem quality with a total weight of 3.10 carats. The largest diamond weighs 0.79 carats.
These diamonds have been submitted to the diamond office and their market value runs into lakhs.
Once again, the diamond-rich land of Panna has turned the fate of a female laborer through the brilliance of diamonds. Rachna Goldar, a resident of Badgadi village, had obtained a lease from the diamond office three months ago and started mining in the Hazara Mudda area. After long efforts, she found 8 small and large diamonds within a week from a shallow mine.
Out of these 8 diamonds, 6 are gem-quality weighing a total of 3.10 carats, with the largest diamond weighing 0.79 carats. The remaining two diamonds are off-color. All these diamonds have been submitted to the diamond office and are expected to fetch lakhs in the upcoming auction. Rachna’s hard work and perseverance have brought joy to her family.
