20 फरवरी को यूनेस्को विश्व धरोहर स्थल खजुराहों में राग बसंत की लय पर 1484 कथक नृत्य साधकों के थिरकते कदमों ने गिनीज़ वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड रच दिया। हाथों में दीपक लेकर जब लय और ताल के साथ घुंघरू साधकों के कदम मिले तब भारतीय संस्कृति और परंपरा एक साथ मुस्कुरा उठीं। प्राचीन वाद्य यंत्र नगाड़ा की ताल और नृतकों के घुंगुरुओं की झंकार ने 50वें खजुराहों नृत्य समारोह की ऐतिहासिक उपलब्धि को यादगार बना दिया। मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. यादव ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में सम्पूर्ण भारत में सांस्कृतिक पुनरुत्थान का पर्व मनाया जा रहा है। इसी कड़ी में भगवान नटराज महादेव को समर्पित साधना की यह उपलब्धि भारतीय संस्कृति का गौरव बन भावी पीढ़ी का मार्गदर्शन करेंगी। नृत्य आराधना परमात्मा की साधना का मार्ग है। यह ईश्वर से सीधा संपर्क का पवित्र माध्यम हैं। मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. यादव ने प्रदेश के विभिन्न शहरों से आए नृत्य गुरुओं और नर्तक नृत्यांगनाओं को कीर्तिमान रचने पर बधाई और शुभकामनाएं दी। सुप्रसिद्ध नृत्य गुरु श्री राजेंद्र गंगानी की कोरियोग्राफी में प्रदेश के विभिन्न शहरों से आए नर्तक नृत्यांगनाओं ने 20 मिनट की प्रस्तुति को राग बसंत में निबध्द कर प्रस्तुत किया।
मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. यादव ने गिनीज़ वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड की उपलब्धि को विशेष बनाते हुए खजुराहो में देश के पहले जनजातीय और लोक कलाओं के प्रशिक्षण के लिए गुरुकुल स्थापित करने की घोषणा की। मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. यादव ने कहा कि गुरुकुल में जनजातीय और ग्रामीण समुदायों की पारंपरिक कलाओं मसलन शिल्प, नृत्य, गायन, वादन, चित्र और उनके मौखिक साहित्य को वरिष्ठ गुरुओं के माध्यम से प्रशिक्षण की व्यवस्था रहेगी। इस गुरुकुल की परिकल्पना इस तरह से होगी, जहाँ ग्रामीण जनजीवन में उनके समग्र विकास के साथ पारंपरिक हुनर और देशज ज्ञान पद्धतियों को संरक्षण मिलेगा। साथ ही पूर्वजों की विरासत को भी विस्तार मिलेगा। संस्कृति, पर्यटन और धार्मिक न्यास एवं धर्मस्व राज्य मंत्री (स्वतंत्र प्रभार) श्री धर्मेंद्र सिंह लोधी, वन, पर्यावरण राज्य मंत्री श्री दिलीप अहिरवार, सांसद खजुराहो श्री वी. डी. शर्मा, प्रमुख सचिव संस्कृति और पर्यटन श्री शिव शेखर शुक्ला सहित बड़ी संख्या में कला प्रेमी और आमजन ऐतिहासिक क्षण के साक्षी बने। उल्लेखनीय है कि विश्व संगीत नगरी ग्वालियर में डेढ़ माह पहले ही तानसेन समारोह के अंतर्गत ताल दरबार कार्यक्रम में एक साथ 1,282 तबला वादकों की प्रस्तुति ने "गिनीज बुक ऑफ वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड" में मध्यप्रदेश का कीर्तिमान स्थापित किया था।

Making the achievement of Guinness World Record special, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced to establish the country's first Gurukul for training of tribal and folk arts in Khajuraho. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that in the Gurukul, there will be arrangements for training in traditional arts of tribal and rural communities like crafts, dance, singing, playing, painting and their oral literature through senior gurus. This Gurukul will be envisioned in such a way that traditional skills and indigenous knowledge systems will be protected along with their holistic development in rural life. Along with this, the legacy of ancestors will also get expanded. Minister of State for Culture, Tourism and Religious Trusts and Endowments (Independent Charge) Shri Dharmendra Singh Lodhi, Minister of State for Forest, Environment Shri Dilip Ahirwar, MP Khajuraho Shri V.D. Sharma, Principal Secretary Culture and Tourism Shri Shiv Shekhar Shukla and a large number of Art lovers and common people became witnesses of the historic moment. It is noteworthy that the performance of 1,282 tabla players simultaneously in the Tal Darbar program under the Tansen Samaroh in the world music city Gwalior, a month and a half ago, had set a record for Madhya Pradesh in the "Guinness Book of World Records".
