Government Announces 15,000 Scholarships for AI Training
The central government has taken a major step to promote digital skills by announcing 15,000 scholarships for students to learn Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the media, entertainment, and gaming sectors.
On May 4, the government approved a new initiative aimed at providing AI training to young professionals working in media, entertainment, gaming, and animation fields.
The goal of this program is to help youth gain advanced technical skills, improve employability, and build better career opportunities in emerging technologies.
This scheme has been launched by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Creative Technologies (IICT).
Major global partners such as Google and YouTube will also support this initiative to strengthen AI learning and digital innovation in India.
