Google to Invest in IT and Data Centers in Madhya Pradesh
Madhya Pradesh has achieved a major milestone on the investment front during the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum. Global technology giant Google has taken significant steps towards making Madhya Pradesh its next major technology destination.
On Tuesday in Davos, a high-level meeting was held between Sanjay Gupta, President – Asia Pacific, Google, and the Madhya Pradesh delegation. During the meeting, mutual agreement was reached regarding investment in the state’s IT, ITeS, and Data Center sectors.
The discussions went beyond infrastructure and focused on the adoption of advanced technologies. Google explored the potential use of its cutting-edge Gemini AI in the agriculture and education sectors of Madhya Pradesh. This initiative is expected to provide farmers with accurate weather forecasting and crop management solutions, while offering students innovative digital education tools.
In the presence of Rakesh Shukla, Minister for New and Renewable Energy, the state government highlighted its green energy–based policies to Google.

- Supportive Policies: Presentation of a favorable policy framework and a collaborative approach to meet the requirements of global companies like Google.
