कूनो नेशनल पार्क से अच्छी खबर आई है। नामीबिया से आई चीता आशा ने 3 जनवरी को तीन शावकों को कूनो जंगल में जन्म दिया है। तीनों शावक अभी स्वस्थ हैं। केंद्रीय वन एवं पर्यावरण मंत्री भूपेंद्र यादव ने शावकों के वीडियो शेयर किए हैं। वीडियो में तीनों स्वस्थ दिख रहे हैं।

केंद्रीय मंत्री भूपेंद्र यादव ने एक्स पर लिखा है कि यह बताते हुए हमें खुशी हो रही है कि कूनो नेशनल पार्क ने तीन नए सदस्यों का स्वागत किया है। नामीबियाई चीता आशा ने शावकों को जन्म दिया है। यह पीएम नरेंद्र मोदी परिकल्पित प्रोजेक्ट चीता की जबरदस्त सफलता है। उन्होंने आगे लिखा कि परियोजना में शामिल सभी विशेषज्ञों और कूनो नेशनल पार्क के अधिकारियों को मेरी ओर से बहुत-बहुत बधाई।

कूनो जंगल में कुल 20 चीते लाए गए थे, इनमें से छह चीतों की मौत हो गई है। कूनो जंगल में अभी कुल 14 बड़े चीते बचे हुए हैं और एक शावक है। वहीं, तीन नए शावकों के जन्म के बाद कूनो में चीतों का कूनबा बढ़ गया है।

At the same time, after the birth of three new cubs, the number of leopards in Kuno has increased.
