- Buddha’s Piprahwa Relics Return: The Piprahwa relics of Lord Buddha have returned to India after 127 years. These relics were discovered in 1898 by British officer William Peppe and taken to the UK. With efforts from the Indian government, the relics have now been brought back to India.
- New Blood Group Discovered: A 38-year-old woman in Karnataka was found to have a new blood group named CRUB. "CR" stands for Cromer, and "IB" stands for India-Bengaluru. Scientists have identified it as a new blood group antigen.
- Indian Army Drill in Sikkim: The Indian Army conducted the "Divya Drishti" drill in Sikkim. The exercise tested the army’s advanced warfare technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI), drones, and sensor-to-shooter systems under simulated war conditions.
- Shubman Gill Breaks Batting Record: In the 5th match of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy, Shubman Gill became the highest run-scorer by an Indian captain in a single series. He broke Sunil Gavaskar’s 1978-79 record of 732 runs scored against the West Indies.
