• Indian cricketer Abhishek Sharma has become the No. 1 batter in ICC T20 rankings with 829 points. He is the third Indian to reach this position after Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav.
• Hyderabad-based space-tech startup Stardour successfully tested India’s first hydrogen-oxygen propulsion engine. The trial was conducted at IISc Bengaluru.
• According to a Canalys report, India has surpassed China to become the top smartphone exporter to the U.S. 44% of smartphones imported into the U.S. during April–June 2025 were Made in India.
• Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the "Gyan Bhartam Mission" to digitize ancient manuscripts and create a national digital repository to connect students and educators globally.
• Reliance Jio has launched the Jio PC, India’s first cloud-based virtual desktop platform. It can turn any screen, including a TV, into a high-end computer system.
