16 फरवरी को मंत्री धर्मेंद्र लोधी ने दुष्यंत कुमार स्मारक पांडुलिपी संग्रहालय भोपाल में ‘राज सदन’ राजुरकर राज स्मृति सभागार का लोकार्पण किया।
30 दिसम्बर 1997 को एक निजी आवास के छोटे कमरे से आरम्भ दुष्यन्त कुमार स्मारक पाण्डुलिपि संग्रहालय अब देश-विदेश में अपनी पहचान स्थापित कर चुका है. सीमित साधनों के बावजूद यह संग्रहालय एक ओर साहित्यिक धरोहर के कारण शोध और पर्यटन का केन्द्र बन चुका है, वहीं दूसरी ओर इसकी निरन्तर रचनात्मक गतिविधियाँ सर्जनात्मक सक्रियता बनाये हुये है. संग्रहालय में साहित्यिक पूर्वजों की अनमोल विरासत को सहेजने का यह प्रयत्न किया गया है. यहाँ हस्तलिखित धरोहर के साथ ही उनके दैनिक उपयोग की वस्तुएँ, छायाचित्र एवं ऑडियो-वीडियो रिकॉर्डिंग की अनमोल धरोहर है.
Dushyant Kumar Memorial Manuscript Museum, which started from a small room of a private residence on 30 December 1997, has now established its identity in the country and abroad. Despite limited resources, on the one hand, this museum has become a center of research and tourism due to its literary heritage, while on the other hand, its continuous creative activities have kept it creative. An effort has been made in the museum to preserve the precious heritage of literary ancestors. Here, along with handwritten heritage, there is a priceless heritage of items of daily use, photographs and audio-video recordings
