With this innings, Devdutt Padikkal crossed the 600-run mark in the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy. He became the first batsman to score 600 or more runs across three Vijay Hazare Trophy seasons. Padikkal has showcased his consistency and utility in India’s premier one-day tournament.
