इंजीनियरिंग और तकनीक से जुड़े क्षेत्रों में महिलाओं की भागीदारी को बढ़ाने के लिए AICTE ने एक अहम पहल की है 20 नवंबर को प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार इसके तहत निजी क्षेत्रों से जुड़ी कंपनियों के साथ मिलकर देश भर के इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेजों में पढ़ने वाली छात्राओं को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए एक नया कार्यक्रम शुरू किया गया है जिसमें उन्हें निजी कंपनियों की जरूरत को ध्यान में रखने के लिए एक विशेष प्रशिक्षण दिया जाएगा।

इंजीनियरिंग और तकनीक की पढ़ाई करने वाली छात्राओं को अब नौकरियों के लिए भटकना नहीं होगा। अमेजन सहित निजी क्षेत्र से जुड़ी कई कंपनियों के साथ करार इस पहल के तहत AICTE निजी क्षेत्रों से जुड़ी कंपनियों के साथ मिलकर देश भर के इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेजों में पढ़ने वाली छात्राओं को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए एक नया कार्यक्रम शुरू किया है, जिसमें उन्हें निजी कंपनियों की जरूरत को ध्यान में रखने के लिए एक विशेष प्रशिक्षण दिया जाएगा। एआइसीटीई ने इसे लेकर अमेजन सहित निजी क्षेत्र से जुड़ी कई प्रमुख कंपनियों के साथ एक करार भी किया है। एआइसीटीई ने इसी तरह दिव्यांगजनों को भी प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए कई निजी कंपनियों के साथ करार किया है। खासबात यह है कि इस करार के तहत निजी कंपनियों को विशेष प्रशिक्षण लेने वाली छात्राओं और दिव्यांगजनों को अपने यहां नौकरियों में प्राथमिकता देनी होगी।
