Cyber Tehsil Initiative in Madhya Pradesh Receives National Recognition
The Cyber Tehsil initiative by the Revenue Department of Madhya Pradesh was honored with the Prime Minister's Excellence Award 2023 in the Innovation category during the Civil Services Day ceremony held on April 21, 2025, at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav congratulated the team led by Principal Secretary Vivek Porwal, stating that this initiative is commendable. To date, approximately 1.5 lakh cases have been resolved through Cyber Tehsil, marking a significant achievement. This system has ensured transparency, saved time and costs, and provided convenience to citizens.
Cyber Tehsil operates on a paperless, end-to-end online system, offering real-time updates and transparency. It has been implemented across all 55 districts of the state, benefiting farmers and citizens alike by simplifying land record updates and property transactions.
Various state delegations have visited Madhya Pradesh to study the Cyber Tehsil model, recognizing its potential for replication in other regions.
