In Madhya Pradesh, the CM Rise Schools, which were previously known by this name, have been renamed. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced that all CM Rise Schools in the state will now be called Sandipani Schools. The Chief Minister explained that the name "CM Rise School" had an association with the colonial era, and thus, it was decided to change the name to Sandipani, after the revered sage.
Furthermore, the 'School Chale Hum' campaign for 2025 was launched in the state's schools on April 1st. The state-level 'Praveshotsav' (entrance festival) event took place at the Government New Higher Secondary School in Arera Colony, Bhopal, with Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav in attendance. During the event, the CM emphasized that education should never be interrupted under any circumstances. He also stated that the quality of education in government schools is at par with any other educational institution.
The CM added that many great personalities who studied in government schools have made India proud on the world stage. Students were encouraged to focus on their goals and achieve success through hard work and dedication.
