At the farmer's conference in Balaghat, CM Dr. Mohan Yadav announced a major gift for the farmers. He mentioned that paddy farmers in the state will be provided an additional benefit of ₹4,000 per hectare.

CM Yadav also stated that under the Value Addition Scheme, 6.69 lakh farmers sold paddy produced over 12.2 lakh hectares in 2024. This will result in an additional profit of ₹488 crore for the farmers in the state.

Bonus for Wheat Farmers

Dr. Yadav further announced that wheat farmers will receive an additional bonus of ₹175 per quintal over the minimum support price of ₹2,425 per quintal. This will bring the total amount to ₹2,600 per quintal for wheat procurement.

This year, the state expects to procure 80 lakh metric tons of wheat. The bonus of ₹175 per quintal will provide an additional benefit of around ₹1,400 crore to the farmers.

Government Job Recruitment in the State

CM Yadav also announced that the state is recruiting for 100,000 government positions. Over the next 5 years, 270,000 jobs will be created across various sectors. He emphasized that the government is committed to providing employment to 70% of the youth by 2028.

A Gift for Hockey Players: Astro Turf

CM Yadav also gave a special gift to the players of Balaghat by inaugurating an Astro Turf for hockey. He expressed pride in the state's athletes, noting that they are making the country proud at both the national and international levels.
