Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav congratulated the athletes from Madhya Pradesh who won medals at the 38th National Games 2025, held in Uttarakhand. In the rowing competition, Madhya Pradesh's female athletes Rukmani and Poonam won gold in the Lightweight Double Sculls event. Additionally, in the Women's Quadruple event, Santosh Yadav, Khushpreet, Poonam, and Rukmani secured another gold medal.
Dr. Yadav praised the impressive performance of India's daughters, highlighting their determination and excellence in bringing home the gold medals. He expressed pride in Rukmani and Poonam’s achievements, stating that their victory brought immense pride to the entire state of Madhya Pradesh.
Furthermore, Dr. Yadav also congratulated Madhya Pradesh's male athletes, Sushil and Nitin Deol, who won the bronze medal in the Men's Lightweight Double Sculls event at the 38th National Games 2025. He wished them a bright future and encouraged continued success in their sporting careers.
