Chanderi Eco Retreat Inaugurated in Ashoknagar District
The Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, in collaboration with the district administration and Sunset Desert Camp, inaugurated the 'Chanderi Eco Retreat & Fest' at the renowned tourist destination of Chanderi. Local artists performed mesmerizing Malwa and Bundelkhand folk dances, followed by the Musafir Band captivating the audience with Bollywood songs.
Efforts to Establish Chanderi as an International Tourism Destination
According to Bidisha Mukherjee, Additional Managing Director of the Tourism Board, the 'Chanderi Eco Retreat' was launched in 2023 to promote Chanderi as a prominent international tourism destination. The initiative has received an encouraging response.
