ICC Approves Hybrid Model for 2025 Champions Trophy

ICC has approved the hybrid model for the 2025 Champions Trophy. Team India will play all their matches in Dubai. This means that if the India-Pakistan final happens, the host country will have to come to Dubai to play. If India does not reach the final, the final will be held in Lahore. Another big news is that in the 2026 T20 World Cup, the India-Pakistan match will be played in Colombo, but this will only be for the league stage. If both teams reach the knockout round in the 2026 T20 World Cup, Pakistan will have to come to India to play. The ICC has refused to give any compensation to the PCB. However, they have agreed to grant Pakistan the 2027 ICC Women’s Trophy.
