CGPSC SSE 2024: Chhattisgarh State Service Exam Dates Announced, Registration Starts from December 1, Prelims on February 9
CGPSC SSE 2024: The registration process for Chhattisgarh State Service Exam will start from December 1. The commission has also announced the schedule of CGPSC SSE exam. Candidates can check the schedule of preliminary and main examination below.
Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) has officially announced the schedule for State Service Exam 2024. The commission will start the registration process for this exam on December 1 at 12:00 noon. Interested and eligible candidates will be able to fill the application form by visiting the official website of the commission psc.cg.gov.in.
CGPSC SSE 2024 Vacancy: Total 246 Vacancies
According to the official notification, there are a total of 246 vacancies. In this, the maximum number of 90 posts are of Excise Sub Inspector. There are 7 posts of Deputy Collector. This time 21 posts are included for DSP. According to the official notification, the last date to register for Chhattisgarh State Service Exam is December 30, 2024, 11:59 pm. Candidates will get an opportunity to make corrections in their submitted application form without any fee from December 31 to January 2 at 11:59 pm.
The application correction window with fee will be open from January 3 to January 5. The application correction fee is Rs 500. However, additional payment will have to be made for correction in local or residential status.
CGPSC SSE Exam Dates
The CGPSC 2024 preliminary exam will be held on February 9, 2025 in two sessions. The morning session will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and the afternoon session will be from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
The CGPSC 2024 main exam will be held on June 26, 27, 28, and 29, 2025. The detailed schedule and venue information will be made available on the official website in due course.
Selection Process
The selection process consists of three stages- Preliminary exam, Main exam and Interview. Candidates who qualify each stage will proceed to the next stage.
CGPSC SSE Eligibility: CGPSC SSE Eligibility Criteria Candidates can check the CGPSC 2024 eligibility criteria below. Candidates must have a degree from a recognized university or its equivalent. Those awaiting final results can also apply, provided they qualify before the last date of the main exam.
The age limit calculated as on January 1, 2024 is 21 to 28 years, with relaxation up to five years for SC, ST and OBC candidates. Ex-servicemen and government employees are also eligible for specific age relaxation, as per the notification.
CGPSC SSE Prelims Exam Pattern
The CGPSC SSE prelims exam will be conducted in offline mode. The preliminary exam will have 2 papers- General Studies and Aptitude Test. The duration of each paper in the prelims exam is 2 hours. The paper consists of 100 questions each. Candidates will get 2 marks for every correct answer and one-third marks will be deducted for wrong answers.
