दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट ने 21 दिसंबर को एक जनहित याचिका (PIL) पर सुनवाई करते हुए दिल्ली और केंद्र सरकार को तलब किया है। कोर्ट ने आदेश दिया- आधार कार्ड को प्रॉपर्टी के डॉक्यूमेंट्स से जोड़ने की मांग करने वाली याचिकाओं पर तीन महीने के भीतर फैसला लें। जस्टिस राजीव शकधर और जस्टिस गिरीश कथपालिया की बेंच ने मामले पर सुनवाई की। बेंच ने कहा कि ये नीतिगत फैसले हैं और अदालतें सरकार से ऐसा करने के लिए नहीं कह सकतीं। हम सरकार को इस पर विचार करने के लिए समय देंगे।   यह याचिका BJP नेता अश्विनी कुमार उपाध्याय ने दाखिल की थी। उन्होंने याचिका में कोर्ट की अपील की है कि वो नागरिकों के चल (मूवेबल) और अचल संपत्ति के दस्तावेज उनके आधार नंबर से जोड़ने के निर्देश दें। याचिका में कहा गया है - अगर सरकार संपत्ति को आधार से जोड़ती है, तो इससे इकोनॉमी में 2% की एनुअल ग्रोथ होगी। इसके अलावा चुनाव प्रकिया में भी पारदर्शिता आएगी और ब्लैक मनी, पॉलिटिकल पॉवर से निजी संपत्ती इकट्ठा करने जैसे भ्रष्टाचार पर रोक लगेगी।

Delhi High Court has summoned Delhi and Central Government while hearing a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) on December 21. Court ordered- Take decision within three months on the petitions demanding linking of Aadhaar card with property documents. A bench of Justice Rajeev Shakdhar and Justice Girish Kathpalia heard the case. The bench said that these are policy decisions and courts cannot ask the government to do so. We will give time to the government to consider this. This petition was filed by BJP leader Ashwini Kumar Upadhyay. In the petition, he has appealed to the court to give instructions to link the movable and immovable property documents of the citizens with their Aadhaar number. The petition states - If the government links assets with Aadhaar, it will lead to 2% annual growth in the economy. Apart from this, there will be transparency in the election process and corruption like black money, amassing personal wealth through political power will be stopped.
