The ceasefire in Gaza Strip, which lasted for a week (24 November to 1 December), ended in the morning on 1 December. A few minutes later, Israeli fighter planes bombed Rafah and southern Gaza, while Hamas and Islamic Jihad fired rockets at Tel Aviv and several Israeli cities. Israel and Hamas have accused each other of breaking the ceasefire. Whereas Qatar, which is mediating, has said that it is talking to both the sides for peace in Gaza. The Israeli army has targeted more than 200 targets in the Gaza Strip in the first day of fighting after the ceasefire.
