CBSE Admission Requires Official Permission
Admission in CBSE Schools Requires Official Permission
Students seeking admission in CBSE-affiliated schools must obtain prior approval from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), particularly when enrolling in Grade 9 or Grade 11, or when transferring from another education board.
In special circumstances, such as a parent’s job transfer, students may be allowed to switch schools. However, this requires permission from the relevant CBSE regional office and submission of supporting documents.
Additionally, students coming from foreign education boards must often obtain an eligibility certificate from CBSE before they can be admitted into a CBSE-affiliated school.
