Various courses in the field of homeopathy
It is worth mentioning that homeopathy education in India started with graduate level and diploma courses . At present, there are many courses to become a homeopathy doctor. The most prominent and popular course among these is Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery ( BHMS ) . Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery is a course of five and a half years including internship , under which students have to do one year internship as well. After BHMS Post graduate degree MD can also be done . Its prescribed duration is three years. Under this, specialization can be obtained in Pediatrics , Materia Medica , Homeopathic Philosophy , Repertory , Psychiatrist , Pharmacy Organ of Medicine etc. For admission in BHMS, a graduate level course of Homeopathy, one has to get selected in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test i.e. NEET . To appear in NEET, you must have passed 12th with at least 50 % marks with Physics , Chemistry , Biology and English subjects .
Various dimensions of career in the field of homeopathy
After doing graduation or post graduation course in homeopathy, there is no dearth of opportunities for students because there are not enough doctors in proportion to the increasing demand for homeopathic medicine in the country . The most popular option for students is private practice , because it has the most opportunities to earn name and money. You may have to struggle a bit in the beginning , but once you become famous, you start earning lakhs of rupees monthly through it. After post graduation in homeopathy, one can also do teaching work in government and private institutions. Apart from this, homeopathy doctors are also appointed in hospitals by the Health and Family Welfare Ministries of the Government of India and the State Governments. Now, even in terms of earnings, homeopathy doctors are reaching the level of allopathic doctors. Apart from this , there are clinics , charitable institutes , research institutes. One can also get work in etc. A good homeopathy doctor easily earns 1 to 1.5 lakh rupees per month.
