Biology is approximately 3.5 billion years old. It studies the natural world and all the animals , plants and trees in it. Biology is divided into two branches. One is zoology and the other is botany. While animals are studied in zoology, plants and trees are studied in botany. The importance of botany in science is such a subject that gives birth to many branches of subjects. It proves to be very helpful in knowing , understanding and preserving human life and the environment around it. After passing 12th you can do B.Sc. Here your fundamentals are strengthened. If fundamentals are strong then you can become a better biotechnologist in future. You can do well in genetics. You can establish yourself as an agricultural scientist , plant biologist or environmental scientist. There are two types of opportunities in this field , one short term i.e. after doing B.Sc. and the other after a long time i.e. after M.Sc. and research . If you want a job immediately after doing B.Sc. then the opportunities for you are a little less. B.Sc. degree in Botany is such a ladder for you , climbing which you get a glimpse of only a few opportunities. For example, working in pharmaceutical companies , becoming a lab assistant , becoming a technical assistant or working in various pharmaceutical companies , vaccine manufacturing work etc. After doing B.Ed you can become a school teacher. You can work in pharmaceutical companies. You can become a medical representative. B.Sc. After doing Botany, one can work in the fields of Biophysics , Development Botany , Genetics Modeling , System Ecology.
