Naidunia Representative, Indore. The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has announced the recruitment for Assistant Professor positions in government colleges. On the last day of the year, the commission released the notification for the Assistant Professor Recruitment Exam 2024, which includes 1930 vacancies in 26 subjects. Additionally, there are 187 vacancies for Sports Officers and 80 vacancies for Librarians.

Application Process to Begin from February 27

The commission has announced that the application process for Assistant Professor will start on February 27. Candidates can complete their registration by March 26. According to the officials, the exam will be conducted in two phases. The state has over 580 government colleges, where there is a significant shortage of teachers. The state government is currently working to fill these vacant positions.

Assistant Professor Recruitment Exam 2024 Schedule

On Tuesday, the commission released the schedule for the Assistant Professor Recruitment Exam 2024. A month’s time has been given to submit applications. The exam will be conducted in two phases on June 1 and July 27 for 26 subjects.

Maximum Vacancies in Science Subjects

The highest number of vacancies have been announced for science-related subjects, including Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, and Physics. In addition, there are over 100 vacancies in subjects like Mathematics, Commerce, Hindi, English, Geography, and Social Science. However, subjects like Marathi, Urdu, Sanskrit Literature, and Music have the fewest vacancies.

1636 Interviews in Progress

The Assistant Professor Recruitment Exam 2022 was conducted in three phases. A total of 1646 vacancies were announced across 36 subjects. The commission has already declared the results, and selected candidates are being called for interviews. In January, interviews for Hindi and Home Science subjects will be held.

All India Bar Exam

The answer key for the All India Bar Exam-19, organized by the Bar Council of India, has been released. Candidates can file objections online until January 10. They will need to pay a fee of ₹500 for submitting objections. If the objection is found valid, the fee will be refunded to the petitioner.

Gopal Kachholia, former president of the Indore Advocates Association, stated that to pass the exam, general and OBC candidates need to score a minimum of 45%, while SC/ST candidates need a minimum of 40%. Only after passing this exam, the state Bar Council issues a permanent license to practice law.
