Approval for third and fourth rail line between Khandwa-Bhusaval, project will be completed in 4 years

The Central Economic Affairs Committee held a meeting on 26 November in New Delhi under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In which three rail projects were approved for 8 thousand crores. In this, approval has been given to lay the third and fourth rail line on 391 km of Khandwa, Burhanpur, Bhusaval and Jalgaon-Manmad rail section in Bhusaval division. Khandwa MP Gyaneshwar Patil said that the central government has given the gift of laying the third and fourth rail line on the 131 km rail route between Khandwa, Burhanpur and Bhusaval. The estimated cost of this project will be Rs 3 thousand 284 crores. This work will be completed in 4 years. During the construction period, the projects will generate direct employment for about one lakh man-days. Three multi-tracking projects were approved in Indian Railways. This will help to provide connectivity, ease travel, reduce logistics costs, reduce oil imports and reduce carbon emissions. The project will improve logistics efficiency by increasing the existing line capacity of these rail sections and enhancing the transport network.
