The Madhya Pradesh government has appointed senior IAS officer Anurag Jain as the new Chief Secretary of the state. He will replace the current Chief Secretary Veer Rana, who retired. Anurag Jain is a 1989 batch Madhya Pradesh cadre IAS officer and is currently holding the post of Secretary in the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.
