After delimitation, Ladakh, which came into existence as a Union Territory in the year 2019, is going to have five new districts. Currently there are two districts here. Kargil and Leh. Now the government has decided that five new districts will be created here. The new districts include Zanskar, Drass, Sham, Nubra and Changthang.
