New Delhi. The world's No. 2 tennis player, Spain's Carlos Alcaraz, won the Men's Singles title at the French Open 2025. On June 8 (Sunday), in a thrilling final played at the Philippe-Chatrier Court in Roland Garros, Alcaraz defeated World No. 1 Jannik Sinner 4-6, 6-7 (4), 6-4, 7-6 (3), 7-6 (2).
This victory marks Alcaraz’s second consecutive French Open Men's Singles title. On the other hand, Italy's Jannik Sinner's dream of winning the French Open was dashed this year. Sinner had reached the French Open final for the first time.
Alcaraz’s remarkable win also adds to his career Grand Slam tally, making it his fifth major title at the young age of 22. The match was an intense battle that showcased the skill and resilience of both players.
