18 दिसंबर को अब्देल फतह अल-सीसी फिर से मिस्त्र के राष्ट्रपति चुन लिए गए हैं।राष्ट्रपति अल-सीसी को चुनाव में किसी गंभीर चुनौती का सामना नहीं करना पड़ा।मिस्त्र की धीमी अर्थव्यवस्था को लेकर लोगों में नाराजगी थी। लेकिन गाजा में लड़ाई छिड़ जाने से राष्ट्रपति को इससे निपटने में सफलता मिली। मिस्त्र में 10-12 दिसंबर को हुए चुनाव में 66.8 प्रतिशत मतदान हुआजो 2018 के पिछले चुनाव से 41 प्रतिशत से काफी अधिक है।

On December 18, Abdel Fattah al-Sisi was re-elected President of Egypt. President al-Sisi did not face any serious challenge in the elections. There was resentment among the people regarding Egypt's slow economy. But when fighting broke out in Gaza, the President was successful in dealing with it. Voter turnout in Egypt's elections held on December 10-12 was 66.8 percent, significantly higher than 41 percent in the previous election in 2018.
