Aishwary Tomar Makes History at ISSF World Championship
Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar won the silver medal in the men's 50-meter rifle three positions event at the ISSF World Championship and equaled the world record in qualification. Niraj Kumar finished fifth in the same event.
Earlier, Samrat Rana won gold in the men's 10-meter air pistol, and Varun Tomar won bronze. India has now won a total of 10 medals, including three gold, four silver, and three bronze.
In the 50-meter rifle event, Niraj Kumar, the second Indian finalist, finished fifth with 432.6 points. The highlight of the day was 24-year-old Aishwary Tomar, who equaled the world record in qualification before reaching the final. He scored an impressive 597-40x in qualification. Niraj Kumar also made it to the final with a score of 592 points.
