After Pakistan Strike, PM Modi Cancels Visit to Three European Nations: Sources
Following a significant military strike on terrorist camps inside Pakistan, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made a major decision by canceling his scheduled visits to three European nations, according to government sources.
On May 6–7, Indian armed forces carried out precision strikes on nine terrorist camps located in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), reportedly killing over 100 terrorists. The attack was conducted using advanced weapon systems from the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force.
Foreign Trip Cancelled After Operation Sindoor
PM Modi was scheduled to visit Norway, Croatia, and the Netherlands for key bilateral meetings and strategic discussions. However, the tours have now been called off. While no official reason has been given for the cancellation, sources suggest it is due to ongoing national security concerns following the military action.
Modi Oversaw Operation Sindoor
According to sources, PM Modi closely monitored the strikes during Operation Sindoor, in which Indian forces targeted bases of terrorist outfits such as Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba. The operation was named “Sindoor” by Prime Minister Modi himself, a name that was later officially adopted by the armed forces.
These events unfolded shortly after a recent terror attack in Pahalgam. In response, PM Modi had vowed that the perpetrators and their handlers would face consequences beyond imagination. Operation Sindoor appears to be the result of that stern warning.
Precision and Coordination
The strikes involved coordinated action by all three military branches. Intelligence, surveillance, and target acquisition played a crucial role in ensuring all nine targets were successfully neutralized.
