मध्यप्रदेश सरकार प्रदेश के विकास के लिए जितनी प्रतिबद्ध है उतनी ही गंभीरता से संस्कृति के संवर्धन का कार्य भी कर रही है। मुख्यमंत्री डॉ.मोहन यादव ने प्रदेश में गौ-संरक्षण की दिशा में अभूतपूर्व निर्णय लिया है। गौ-सरंक्षण की दिशा में किए जा रहे प्रयासों को गति देते हुए राज्य सरकार ने अनुकरणीय पहल की है। प्रदेश सरकार ने भारतीय नव वर्ष विक्रम संवत् 2081 अर्थात चैत्र माह से अगले वर्ष तक गौ- वंश रक्षा वर्ष के रूप में मनाने के साथ ही गौ-संरक्षण की दिशा में अनेक महत्वपूर्ण निर्णय लिए हैं।
As much as the Madhya Pradesh government is committed to the development of the state, it is also taking the work of cultural promotion with equal seriousness. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has taken an unprecedented decision towards cow protection in the state. The state government has taken exemplary initiatives to give impetus to the efforts being made towards cow conservation. Along with celebrating Indian New Year VikramSamvat 2081 i.e. from Chaitra month till next year as Cow Protection Year, the state government has taken many important decisions in the direction of cow protection.
