Indian athlete Hokato Hotoje Sema won a bronze medal for the country at the Paris Paralympics. 40-year-old Hokato Sema, playing his first Paralympics, finished third in the F57 shot put event with a throw of 14.65 meters. This is India's 27th medal at the Paris Paralympics. The athlete from Nagaland finished third in the standings with his third throw of 14.40 and improved further in the fourth attempt. Hokato Sema is the first athlete from Nagaland to win a Paralympic medal.
