JK Police SI Recruitment 2024: Jammu and Kashmir Staff Selection Board has released the official notification for the posts of Sub Inspector in Jammu and Kashmir Police. This is a great opportunity for the candidates appearing in this recruitment exam. The application window for this will open in December.
The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has announced recruitment to the posts of Sub-Inspectors in the department in Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP). Interested and eligible candidates can apply online from December 3, 2024 to January 2, 2025.
The aim of this recruitment drive is to fill a total of 669 posts of Sub Inspector in Jammu and Kashmir Police. The recruitment includes written examination, physical test and document verification.
Educational Qualification
For these posts, the applicant must be a resident of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. To prove this claim, they must have a certificate issued on or before January 2, 2025. Applicants must have a graduation degree from a recognized university.
Age Limit
Candidates should be between 18-28 years of age, except serving personnel. The age limit for them is 18-30 years. The cut-off date for determining the age limit is January 1, 2024.
When will the exam be held?
The date, center and syllabus of the examination will be announced later. The written examination will consist of objective type multiple choice questions. The paper will be in English only. There will be negative marking in the written examination. If the answer to any question is wrong, one fourth (¼) of the total marks allotted for it will be deducted.
National Cadet Corps (NCC) 'C' certificate holders will get 5 percent bonus marks. NCC 'B' certificate holders will get 3 percent bonus marks and NCC 'A' certificate holders will get 2 percent bonus marks.
