A cabinet meeting was held in Singhrampur of Damoh district under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav in honour of the unprezascedented contribution of Veerangana Rani Durgavati. The cabinet approved an additional assistance of maximum Rs 3900 per hectare under Rani Durgavati Shrianna Protsahan Yojana. It was decided to give this assistance amount to the farmers' account through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) in addition to the minimum purchase price paid by the Federation to the farmers on the purchase of Kodo-Kutki by the "Mahasangh (Federation)" constituted under the scheme year 2024-25.
Decision to constitute Madhya Pradesh Jain Welfare Board
It has been decided to constitute Madhya Pradesh Jain Welfare Board. This is the first work of its kind in the country. It has been decided to constitute Madhya Pradesh Jain Welfare Board to effectively implement various schemes of the government in the special context of Jain society regarding education, social concerns such as security and better education and improvement in the status of the talented children and youth of Jain society during the stay and Chaturmas of Jain-Munis. The board will have 01 chairman and 02 members. The formation of the board will lead to better implementation of welfare / public welfare schemes of the government for the people of Jain society, class. This will accelerate the economic, social and educational development of Jain society. The board will have 2 years The tenure of Shwetambar and 2 years of Digambar community will be decided.
Approval of formation of committee to develop Rani Durgavati Memorial and Garden
The Council of Ministers approved the formation of a committee to develop Rani Durgavati Memorial and Garden under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister. The committee will have Panchayat and Rural Development Minister, Public Works Minister, Tribal Affairs Minister and Culture and Tourism Minister as members. There is a plan to develop 24 acres of Madan Mahal hill in Jabalpur as Rani Durgavati Memorial and Garden at a cost of about Rs 100 crore. In this, decisions will be taken by the committee on bronze statue of Rani Durgavati, open air theater, art and craft zone (crafts, metal and terracotta), food zone with availability of local food, water conservation structures, cafeteria and film production.
