Union Minister for Ports, Shipping and Waterways Shri Sarbananda Sonowal launched the 'Cruise India Mission' from Mumbai Port. Aimed at promoting the tremendous potential of cruise tourism in the country, the program by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways aims to boost the country's cruise tourism industry by doubling the cruise passenger traffic within five years i.e. by 2029.
