3% Discount on Digital Payments through RailOne App for General Tickets

The Indian Railways "RailOne" app will now offer a 3% discount on booking general (unreserved) tickets. From 14th January to 14th July 2026, passengers will get a 3% discount on the digital payment of fares.

The Railway Board launched the "RailOne" app to provide passengers with all travel-related services on a single digital platform. Now, passengers will not have to use separate apps or platforms for train tickets, food, live tracking, or assistance. On RailOne, passengers can book reserved, general, and platform tickets, as well as monthly season tickets. They can also track live train locations and order food. In case of emergencies during travel, passengers can easily request help through the RailHelp feature.

Previously, passengers had to use separate apps and platforms for different services: IRCTC’s website for reserved tickets, mobile UTS app for general, platform, and season tickets, and RailHelp or helpline 139 for complaints. Now, all these services will be available under one roof with the RailOne app, making it a highly convenient solution.

The Railway Board has consolidated and upgraded all its separate apps into the RailOne app. This will help eliminate the hassle of downloading multiple apps and visiting different websites. RailOne is designed with a user-friendly interface and is available in multiple Indian languages, including Hindi and English, allowing travelers to choose the language they are most comfortable with.

The RailOne app is expected to be a valuable tool for passengers, offering everything from ticket bookings to live train tracking, complaint registrations, and food orders—all in one place.
